5 hobbies you should try!
Updated: Sep 16, 2021
Hey ! Today's post is going to introduce you to a few hobbies you should check out. I enjoy some of these myself and some of my friends enjoy the others so these are foolproof!
Knitting
Knitting is definitely a time-consuming and relaxing activity! The repetition in the process is extremely calming. A few of my friends have started knitting recently and it looks so much fun because you can get super creative with what you make and it is super inexpensive to do.
Pros:
relaxing
creative
inexpensive
Cons:
time-consuming
requires a lot of patience

Jewellery making
Jewellery making is definitely a fun one! I love making jewellery, it is so relaxing and allows so much creativity. It is definitely a relaxing activity but it does require a lot of precision and focus. Jewellery making is something I have started recently too and I can't wait to make more things.
Pros:
creative
relaxing
makes you focus
Cons:
tools can be expensive
requires precision
Photography
Photography can be a really interesting and blossoming activity to try. I am sure everyone has seen some beautiful photos on social media of ordinary items like ad apple to breathtaking landscapes. I think photography is an excellent thing to try out to expand your boundaries and see the creativity in everything. Although, photography can require a suitable camera of some sort, of course not a big professional camera but at least a good quality camera on a mobile phone.
Pros:
endless creativity
interesting
Cons:
can be limiting if you do not have a good quality camera on your phone etc.

Macrame
I am sure everyone has seen a macrame wall hanging or art, possibly even own one themselves. Macrame is a great craft activity that anyone can do with good instruction and a patient and focused mind. Macrame is similar to knitting it requires a lot of patience but it very calming due to its repetitive actions.
Pros:
creative
useful - can be used a decoration after
Cons:
rope can be slightly expensive
patience!
Baking/Cooking
Who would not want to learn how to make exquisite and scrumptious meals and treats! Baking is something many people already love to do but taking it to the next level and making harder dishes is definitely something that would be super fun! Serving friends and family with meals and treats you have made sounds like a lot of fun!
Pros:
fun
creative
a source of learning new things
builds resilience because you may make mistakes and not get it right every time.
Cons:
sometimes buying new ingredients can be expensive
time-consuming
