Different types of room styles

Updated: Sep 16, 2021

In this post, you will find some different ones that you may like!

Minimalistic

Having a minimal bedroom means that you do not clutter your bedroom with too much and you keep it neat and tidy to do this you only keeping the things you need the most outside and storing the rest away. Here are some examples:

Bohemian

I really like this aesthetic because colour palettes are really relaxing and fresh and make the room feel so natural. As well as the plants and green aspects put into the room. If you have a lot of natural light flowing through your room as well you would be able to achieve the perfect bohemian look in your bedroom!

Modern/Scandinavian

Modern styles are very popular and buying modern styled furniture and decor is very easy to find, especially at places like Ikea. These kinds of rooms generally tend to consist of cooler shades like greys and blues.

Vintage

Vintage styles are similar to the bohemian colour palette, with the natural and brown shades. Using more rusted furniture instead of bold and sharp. Sometimes with an old and antiqued theme but not always!

Full/Maximalist

This style tends to seem a little un-organised and messy but it really does not have to be. In this aesthetic, you would find rooms that have so many things stuck to the walls you don't know what colour is painted underneath, desks with notebooks and stationery covering the entire surface and different textiles thrown across the floor layered on top of each other like rugs.

Thank you so much for reading through this post! I hope you enjoyed it as I will be uploading many more just like this covering the topic of interior design!
